Purpose And Money: How To Balance It All?

According to latest data, 77% of accompanying partners worked prior to assignment… yet 57% are not working while on international assignment.

It’s time to talk about how money fits into the conversation — because the moment we talk about work, we’re talking about money. And for many, the consequences of talking about money, our careers, and our purpose can bring up difficult feelings: worry, suffering self-esteem, a lack of confidence, and even shame.

Our next Money Roundtable date is TBD but we will be scheduling is soon.  Be sure to check back in a few weeks for the update.

Caroline Giffon, Certified Life Coach

Hello! I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a certified Life Coach who helps partners accompanying the staff of international organizations find the pathway toward their new identity, and reclaim their purpose.

Over the last 20 years, I have lived abroad in six different countries across three continents. Before finding my second calling as a life coach for expat partners, I worked in international development. Now, through my show, Love Your Expat Life, I share the powerful tools that have changed my journey to help “accompanying partners” worldwide reclaim their purpose and pursue their dreams— so they can live a life they love.

It’s possible to be a supportive partner, take care of your family, and still realize your own unique life purpose — without exhausting yourself or sacrificing your dreams. Let me help you forge your path.

Many accompanying partners experience joblessness or go through a loss of financial independence.

Certain career skills are more transferable than others, and sometimes it’s not easy to attain work permits when you’re an accompanying partner. Things like local employment laws may restrict what jobs are available to foreigners, and it always feels like there are more hoops than there should be.

And sometimes, we just want to make a career change.

Whatever your specific circumstances, chances are you’re already thinking about the big things — balancing your life and your career, exploring your sense of self-worth, living with purpose — and imagining what your next steps might be.

So let’s talk about it!

What do you feel is the right balance between your purpose, your worth, and money?  Have you given up trying to find ways to do the work you enjoy — and actually make money doing it?

Do you ever feel like there are no good options?

Do you sometimes feel trapped?

You are not alone. There’s another way.

Come join me for an intimate roundtable event and take the first step toward reclaiming your purpose — and finding answers to all your big life questions. Purpose, money, balance — everything’s on the table.

I get it, I've been there.

I have experienced the inordinately high price that global mobility exacts on the career of an accompanying partner.

Lost, stuck, unfulfilled, powerless, desperate, resentful, angry, lonely, invisible – I’ve felt it too.

I was able to create my purpose – and it’s possible for you, too.

Come join us for the first roundtable of many- the only online gathering of its kind.
